rjohn1 Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 I am new to osCommerce and am trying to configure the application to allow for multiple shipping zones. In a nutshell, I would like to be able to allow receipt of payments from all 50 states in the U.S. Right now I have Georgia as my defined zone and when I attempt to purchase from another state, neither the shipping option nor the payment options is available. How do I configure osCommerce to allow payment receipt and shipping options from all 50 states and even other countries? Please advise. Regards, Rick

Regards, Rick <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'm atempting the same thing for uk,us & others, after some time I think ive got it, "This works for me" 1 Check the country is added = admin=>configuration=>locations & taxes (make a note of the 2 letter ISO code for the country you want to create a zone for ie GB ) 2 LHS goto Zones & add if nescerary. for some reason the code to add here can be 3 letters ie GBR 3 goto = admin=>modules/shipping=>zone rates " Here i added my zones & prices as described in osc but found it best to first remove then re install the zone rate moduel " Then start the sort order at 1, in the Countries use the 2 letter ISO code that you made a note of from 1 abbove, create your price table ie 1:2.50 etc then update.. if you follow the same procedure for zone2 etc it works fine. BUT NOTE when you add zone 2 change the Sort Order Sort order of display. to 2 & change your 2 letter ISO code to th new one. Hope this waffle is some use.. PS dus anyone know where the Shipping Table info is stored or how to update zone tables without having to do it all again?? because its easy to loose, e-mail [email protected] cheers
