Two different merchant accounts for one payment?

Hello -

 

I am new to osCommerce, as I am evaluating several open source shopping solutions for a client.

 

They are a non-profit and have a particular need. They would like to sell donations and products in their store. For accounting reasons, they would like to charge donations to one merchant account and products to another.

 

I understand that osCommerce would likely have to be modified to accomodate this as a product attribute.

 

But here's the real question: Is there a payment module that would support multiple merchant accounts? And if so, can it split an order (in the case where there is an order for a donation and a coffee mug)?

 

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
