Emails are not send

Hi, email from other webpages and products go fine, Merak is on port 25 and microsoft smtp runs on 2525 I think from memory.

 

No emails are sent from osCommerce, no errors. I have checked the configuration and have set to SMTP and enabled email, I have tried MIME HTML and plain text setting.

 

Any ideas anyone?

Make sure that you enter the e-mail addresses like this:

[email protected]

and not like this:

Sales<[email protected]>

Windows servers don't like this form of e-mail address.

 

Make sure that you have entered an e-mail address under 'Send Extra Order E-mails To' in your osC admin panel under Configuration --> My Store.

 

If SMTP setting does not work then try 'sendmail'

 

If it still does not work then you may have to install the SMTP Authorisation contribution.
