Customers not able to join

I have had several customers over the past 2 weeks try to join our site, but could not. The first customer emailed me and stated that he received the following message:

 

There has been an error processing your credit card, please try again : SGS-001003: The tag Comments is required to have a value of proper range.

 

Does anyone have any idea what this is and hopefully how to fix it?

 

I tested the site by entering various credit cards, addresses, expiration dates, etc. (both good and bad) and never had the problem. The problem that I am having is losing several customers because of it.

 

When they try to join, they are not activated but are added to the list of customers. When I go to the admin side under customers, I will normally see the customers Last Name, First Name then Credit Card Info. These customers that are not able to join end up showing - expiry: where the credit card info should be and of course places them as pending. When I edit the info, it shows their name, address, phone number, etc., but no data on credit card, program, etc.

 

Please, someone help me with this - I am lost!!
