jariggs Posted August 23, 2005 Share Posted August 23, 2005 I got Easy Populate to work and have now been able to upload various products. Because I was experimenting however, I ended up with several duplications. As long as there were duplicates, the images showed up. But I then erased the entries through the admin panel so that I could upload my tab delimited file again from scratch. Everything appeared to upload ok, but no images appeared. I can locate the images on the webserver but apparently don't know how to point to them. Should I be putting the entire path in the spreadsheet before uploading? If so, the webserver path or local filename path? I note that when I add the image through the admin panel, it browses to the local drive filename, rather than to the webserver file. I only put the filename in the spreadsheet because that was the only entry there when I downloaded the Easy Populate file from the website as recommended. Nevertheless, when cleared the dupes and uploaded anew, the images do not appear. I assume osc doesn't know where to find them. Are there some settings I'm missing... I am putting all my stock images in osc/images/... site is here www.odysseyshop.net ... then 'catalog'... Thanks for helping...
