Rykkers53 Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 Is there a WYSIWYG add-on, plug-in, or bolt-on that can be used in place of the textarea fields for page editing, and if so, where do I get it / how do I install it ? If not, why not?
Wendy James Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 Tons of them. Just go to the contributions area and search for WYSIWYG :) Now this will only work for certain pages such as the product description. I think one of them will do your emails. You can install the information pages unlimited which allows you to edit your index page, shipping, conditions and contact us... all via the admin page plus create additional pages and it works with one of the WYSIWYG editers. I love this product, and the speed that questions get answered in this community!
Wendy James Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 lol Glad I could help. I made a small mistake though. This is the contribution that I know works with the WYSIWYG editer http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,2021 Called Extra pages-info box w/ admin Tells you which editer it works with too. :) Good luck. I install both of these on all of the sites I do, makes it much easier later on to edit stuff, expecially for people who don't know html. Oh, btw... If you install the Extra pages contribution, you can skip the steps for the mainpage part of the WYSIWYG editer. Extra pages already does what the mainpage step does so you don't need it.
