has anyone integrated the link directory from www.phplinkdirectory .com

 

i have had a look and it doesnt look all bad but i have tried to install it but cant, seems like an ideal link script for osc

 

anyone interested in helping to do it or know of anyone who has?

Hello Mike, sure I am interested, seems pretty good. Currently I am using a heavily modified links contribution but I like this has an integrated spider, custom gui and email services just a few I read so far.

 

So you have a mgt plan in mind? How can we divide the work needed for integration?

The admin section for phpLD is nearly as extensive as OSC, so I'm not sure (could be wrong) if it is such a good idea to try to blend the programs together too closely, but phpLD uses the Smarty templating engine, so it is not too difficult to simply match the existing design of the OSC site. Here is an example where I did this:
