Guest Posted August 22, 2005 Posted August 22, 2005 Hi am not sure if am posting this in the right forum sorry if this is the wrong one (am new :blush: ) Anyway my problem is after sending payment for a product i get sent back to my site after payapl and the page informs me my download is ready and i have 7 days to do it in and i can have 5 attempts but there is no link there to downlod it. As far as i can tell i have set up all the settings right, if anyone could help me this would be great!! Thanks

Trev <{POST_SNAPBACK}> yeah the file matches and as for the attributes i think i have could you give me an example of one just to make sure and is there a set folder for downloads or do i need the full link like http://www.mysite/download/download.zip ?

I meant to ask if you have download set to enabled. When you set the products attributes there there should be a panel for you to put the filename into. It will also tell you how many days for your customer has to get their download and how many times they can get it. If none of that is there then you haven't set your download configuration yet.

If none of that is there then you haven't set your download configuration yet. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> i do have a folder called downloads with my downloads in there but itsnot in a folder called caralog since there is no catalog folder with my install its in the root dir i have enables downloads and redirect have tried turning redirect off no joy tho and i have put the file name in the attributes any ideas? do i need to edit a php file for the downloads?

(Normally) No you don't need to edit any PHP files. Just check where your download folder is exactly and all the other files. The catalog folder should be in the root directory if not then you will need to do editing to some PHP files. Trev
