How do I change the look and feel of my template? I received only PSD and *.PHP files. I use frontpage and adobe photoshop. I can open the PSD files and change them, but how do i save it as index.php, and not mess up my database? I really only want to change colors, logos, and some banner pics. Please help!!

Sorry to say, it's just not going to be that easy. You'll need to open your index.php, and edit the code directly, being careful not to mess up the php that is intermingled with the html.

Most of the design changes can be make in the header.php, footer.php, column_left.php, column_right.php and stylesheet.css.

I suggest taking your psd, and making it a HTML coded template. Then hacking up that html, and inserting it into the oscommerce code where appropriate. It's not going to be as easy as opening your psd and saving it to your index.php.

NOTE: As of Oct 2006, I'm not as active in this forum as I used to be, but I still work with osC quite a bit.

If you have a question about any of my posts here, your best bet is to contact me though either Email or PM in my profile, and I'll be happy to help.
