iMate Posted August 22, 2005 Posted August 22, 2005 I was reading this article in the OsCommerce Knowledge Base (here) about displaying the customers ip address in the page footer. The article says "...The IP Address is automatically stored in the database for customer accounts and orders. Some store owners like to display this information to the customer whilst they are browsing the store..." But where are the ip address stored? I can't find it in any of the database tables. Is it possible to "desactivate" this feature (I'm talking about storing the ip with the order, not about displaying the ip in the footer...) I really want the ip address stored with every order, otherwise it's impossible to track hooliganism.
iMate Posted August 22, 2005 Author Posted August 22, 2005 btw, this is my first post in this community, so maybe I should say Hello... Well, Hello everybody! I'm from Sweden, I've got no shop yet, but it's on it's way. I'm new at OsCommerce and web shops, but I know php, sql, css and html.
iMate Posted August 24, 2005 Author Posted August 24, 2005 Is there really no member here that knows anything about this?
radders Posted August 24, 2005 Posted August 24, 2005 You probably need this contribution - IP Keeper
