Surely I am not the only person who has ever wanted to do this? What has happened to the guy who wrote this module?

All text is found in the laguages directory. You can always search that directory to find what you are looking for. In this case, take a look at includes/languages/english/create_account.php.

G'day - I am looking to modify the order email, not the create an account email. Also, the one sent when a customer pays by Pay Pal is not the one sent by other payment methods - thanks for the suggestion but I need module specific advice.

This is totally different to editing the order process email that is sent out - how would comments be added under the store name without breaking the module?
