ann_33368
Please help - I'm a little lost: 1. Do I need a special editor to edit my php files - I tried to use Notepad. 2. I'm using the Vdeck from IPower.web and installed OSCOmmerce 2.2 and tried to edit the catalog home page using the english/index.php but when I ftp it - it doesn't update. It won't let me update the pages using the OS admin manager either. Is this a permissions problem? How do I set permissions? I'm now just getting the following line when I click on my cart: Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/displaye/public_html/osCommerce/catalog/includes/languages/english/index.php on line 13 How can i fix this .... :'( Much Appreciated, Annette
Wendy James
You do not want to use the file manager even if it worked for you because there are known bugs. You do not need a special editer but if you do a search on the web for free (if you want a free one) php editers you will find some usefull tools. I have heard phpeditor is a good one.
