♥Vger Posted August 20, 2005 Share Posted August 20, 2005 mySQL has to be installed on the server. If you have your own dedicated server then you can install it yourself - MySQL is free software. I've never heard of a host that doesn't have either MSSQL or MYSQL installed, so they've probably got it installed already but want to charge you ?25 per database.
