Shopping cart: deactivate link on product image

I just noticed a potential problem with the shopping cart and wondered if anybody else has solved it:

in shopping_cart.php the pictures of the products in the cart are displayed as a link: The client can click on a product in the cart, and will be directed to the page product_info.php, where he can then click the button "add to cart" - the result is that the same product will now be in the cart twice. I agree that this is unlikely to happen, but whoever already runs a webpage will agree that many clients are less gifted in the use of the internet than one might assume.

 

(1) Is it possible to deactivate the link underlying the products in shopping_cart.php?

 

(2) Could one somehow display the information which is shown in product_info in the shopping cart instead?

 

Is there anybody out there who could help me with this?
