Keeps defaulting to $

I have three currencies..but the shop keep defaulting to the wrong currency shown...how do i change this?

through the admin -> Localization -> Currencies

Download and edit includes/languages/english.php, and where you see 'USD' change this to 'GBP' or 'EUR' or to the three letter code for your default currency.
