I want to have products for which I will create my own links. I don't want these products to show up through the standard osC method.

 

Can this be done easily?

Don't know what you have in mind but in order to not show products in the catalog side you can simply give them the status not on stock.

I'll be more specific.

 

Let me start with the bottom line. I want to display a piece of artwork and offer it for sale on that product info page on various products (cards, magnets, etc.). I also want separate prices for retail or wholesale customers.

 

I tried to use the Master Products contrib, but could not get it to work with another contrib I'm using (Seperate Price Per Customer). That would be the perfect combo, but I couldn't get them to work together. If anyone can solve that problem it would be great. I've asked about it in both the MP and SPPC forums, but no solution yet. One guy said he would post something soon, so I'm anxiously awaiting that and still looking for alternatives.

 

I tried to brainstorm a solution using standard osC features like attributes. But I can't have separate attribute prices for retail and wholesale. That contrib works only on the price of the product not the attributes. Can I still sell products with an out of stock status? I keep thinking someone smarter than me could come up with a way of doing this without any contribs. :P

 

Anyway, I sincerely appreciate any assistance.
