zoeticlight
I've been working on getting Paypal IPN v1.1 working on a testing basis with sandbox using encryption. So far I've been successful, but for me to get this to work, I ended up using openSSL to generate my own private key and certificate. I then used these files on Paypal's site to generate the public key and so forth. Works fine. But I was wondering if this is the smartest thing to do. I currently have an SSL certificate from Comodo installed on my site, so should I have used it instead of the self-generated certificate via openSSL? If so, that would involve asking my host for my private key that they used to generate my CSR, and I'm not so sure if they'll give it to me. I haven't asked, but I've seen others around here unsuccessful in this. Can anybody shed some light on this? Thank you, Mike
