Could someone help, please. I have tried at least ten times and cannot get an image to appear. I am trying to replace the oscommerce.gif with my own. I know how to do this, but still the image is not appearing. Am I missing something?

I edited the includes/header.php and uploaded the image(s). (I tried several) Is there something else I am supposed to do? Thanks in advance.

The way I did it was to rename my OSCommerce.gif as OldOscommerce.gif etc and then save my new image as OSCommerce.gif. That way i did not need to make any changes to the header.php. Just use the same image size. Note there are 2 OSCOMmerce.gif in the package (in different folders). So make sure you are working with the right one!!

I must have overwritten the image in the oscommerce.gif file and when I try to view it, it is not there. What size is it supposed to be? I havn't read anything regarding the size. If anyone has information regarding this issue, I sure would appreciate a reply. Thank you.

I don't think the size really matters...I saved my logo as oscommerce.gif and it was much larger than the origianl oscommerce.gif and it didn't matter...

you need to make sure you are saving it in the same folder the old gif was in and it should work...

where are you saving your oscommerce.gif

I am saving it in the catalog/images file. I renamed the old oscommerce.gif file a few times and the image seems to be lost. I cannot find it anywhere. The file is still there but now named oldoscommerce.gif just as steve suggested. Then I uploaded a file named oscommerce.gif and left the header.php as "oscommerce.gif, So Cool Uniforms....etc. The name shows up, but not the image.
