Session tmp directory problem

I　got the error warning: The sessions directory does not exist: /tmp. Sessions will not work until this directory is created. when I browse the index.php file of Oscommerce. I have added the tmp directory under c:\; I have changed the configure.ini setting to "define('STORE_SESSIONS', 'mysql'); // leave empty '' for default handler or set to 'mysql'" in the configure.ini file. But it still not works, anyone can help me ?
