authorize.net, isnt processing

I am using the latest OSC and its defaul authorize.net payment module.

I have all the login info in its place and i am on the test server but...

 

if i use it to pay for check out, i put in the test 4111.....

it goes to the checkout_confirmation.php page, when i hit the confim button, it goes to https://secure.authorize.net/gateway/transact.dll

but it is showing exactly like my checkout_payment.php page, so its like starting all over again.

 

Check out what i mean....use the test CC number 4111111111111111

 

does anyone have any idea what is going on? I have been knocking my head for awhile at this but it just wont work.

What is 4111? I use the TEST or PRODUCTION settings on the admin panel for Authorize.net. You do have an SSL Certifcate and a dedicated DNS for your domain? If you set your shopping cart as a secured site and if you don't have an SSL Certificate and a dedicated DNS you will get errors.
