Guest
Is there a manual I can print off anywhere on this site. I have installed a couple of contributions, editied a few files but I am very much stumbling blindly through. Is there an osc manual? Should I learn php? Is there a 'basics' resource somewhere? Thanks, Rick

Join the newbie team my brother. Blindly is how we all go, so thanks for places like this forum and the power of the web for a little light in our dark tunnel. Just keep looking at it. It's really a template you control through an Admin panel except "look and design" changes. PHP ain't so bad. It's more basic than you may think. Since OSC is already built, you only really need to know what to look for. >Is there an osc manual? http://www.oscommerce.info/docs/english/ This is as basic as it gets. >Should I learn php? That of course would help but is not needed. >Is there a 'basics' resource somewhere? You have pretty much found it. Revolution
