greenfrg
A search didn't pull up any results on this so apologies if it is a repeat post. At some point while working on the script I've lost the ability to set status (active/inactive) of the Categories/Products section in admin. At the product level this feature is still working but it's missing from the higher category and sub category levels. In other words if I add a new category folder I can't deactivate or hide it. If possible can someone please point me toward the file / script I need to look at to find out why this isn't working? Thanks you in advance. djo
I may be wrong about this, but I don't think you have the option of turning off categories in the standard admin. I just checked my store and while "status" is listed, it isn't functional until you get to the products. greenfrg
Thanks for your help and believe it or not, pointing me in the right direction! You're right - the ability to change category status isn't a standard part of OScommerce. I've worked on 2 different installs and it turns out it was my own silly fault in getting confused between the newer install which has the enable_disable_categories mod running, and the older one I'm back working on now which doesn't.
