Editing product listing page

I want to add a decscription to the product listing like it is on the "what's new in (current month) page.

 

When I click on a category and it lists the items, I want it to show the pic, title and description...

 

any help would be appreciated.

there is a bunch of mods for this in the contribution section ... search for "short description"
