Hello

I just installed oscommerce and configured it but when I try to login (login.php) or create an account (create_account.php) I get a 404 error. The files have been uploaded and chmod777.

Can anyone please help?

Thanks

Perhaps, you activate ssl. Go to catalog/includes/configure.php, and replaces :

define('ENABLE_SSL', true); // secure webserver for checkout procedure?

by

define('ENABLE_SSL', false); // secure webserver for checkout procedure?

Check your configure.php files. there are 2.

Another cause could be that you have not configured https:// correctly.

Do you have an SSL certificate shared or otherwise?

Post your url please.

Kind Regards,

Michelle

php Empty Spaces Rule

Tip: Make sure that there are no empty spaces before the first <?php at the top of the page and after the last ?> at the bottom. php don?t like empty spaces at the beginning or end of a page. Blank spaces can cause Error Warnings.
