In my shipping modules its simply set up like this: 0.0:0,0.10:1.49,0.20:1.99,0.35:2.99 If you understand what the above means then you will see that for anything weighing 0.0KG costs ?0.00 (it doesnt matter what currency you use I use UK pounds) When you want to make a product free shipping just put the weight as 0.00. In the product se weight as 0 and in the table rate place at the start the following 5:0.00,25:8.50,50:5.50 this means anything less then wt 5 will be at 0 cost you can change the value too.
