Which directories do I need to allow for writing?

Hi again,

I wanted to know which are the directories/files that I need to allow for writing

on my FTP server... Can somebody help me?

For example, right now I am on my catalog/admin and it says that it cannot

write on Graph directories..

Graphs, Images (both) should be 777 (full permissions). All other folders = 755.

is there a way of doing this on a windows server as i don't seem to be able to change permissions using ftp surfer

You cannot use FTP to change permissions on a Windows server. You'll have to use the File Manager in your web hosting control panel.
