Why can't I buy more than 1 item?

Hi! Haven't been here for a while .

New problem. Actually it's older but didn't check it until now. Why can't I buy more than one product? I mean I buy 5 items (same) for example, but when the order comes by email it's for only one product. I guess this would be a prob if someone wants to buy 5 cars lets say and they only can buy one at once. :D

I'm sure I saw once a topic aboout this, but now I can't find it. Any help? Please!

when you get to the order confirmation page, does it show several items? Is the price for several items there? Is the price for one item only in your email? If yes, you have somewhere hardcoded that only one item is inserted into the database, I think.

Well, on the confirmation page it shows only 1 item, no matter how many I try to buy.

Add an item to the cart. You probably can change to 3 in your shopping cart, right? Are you then normally proceeding to checkout, or do you click the update button? If you forget to click that only one article is bought. You can use the workaround from the tips and tricks board for this to be resolved, or add a javascript that submits automatically if the value is changed.

Well, I now realise that I've never clicked on updtae!!! I feel stupid, but this is good too, becuase the same thing could happen to my customers and now I know I should make that clear in a visible place. Thanx a lot!
