nat2zxd Posted August 14, 2005 Posted August 14, 2005 similar to amazon - can't seem to find the oscommerce functionality that for re-occuring customers with an account - the checkout payment screen displays previous cards used to make it easy for the customer to just select the previous card and checkout - if someone can point me to the right direction i would appreciate.
stevel Posted August 14, 2005 Posted August 14, 2005 This isn't part of the core osC functionality, and it is rather dangerous to do unless you can implement encryption and strict security for the database. There are very few merchants I trust to keep credit card info after a purchase completes. If you're using a payment gateway, I don't know that you can do it all. What you CAN do is take one of the existing payment modules (such as check/money order) and turn it into a "credit card on file" method. This would rely on you having stored (offline) the credit card info for processing the payment.
