Guest Posted August 14, 2005 Posted August 14, 2005 Hi guys I came across OSCommerce by accident and looks way more than I hope for to offer my client Have a couple of questions I'd really appreciate an answer to 1)I notice there's multilingual support + hebrew packs (for the site will be in hebrew) Question :- Are the hebrew packs to convert the admin panel, or the site / catalog the customers see - or both??? (From what I can tell, it's both) 2) Just wondering, though not the end of the world if not possible.......is it possible to have the admin section in one language, but the site/catalog the visitors see in another??? 3) Is it possible for visitors to choose what language they see whenever they visit?? So one visitor can see in english, one in hebrew??? 4) Most importantly........and why I regged on this board just to ask this question........I don't speak hebrew, my client doesn't speak english and wants an all hebrew site Can I Install everything in english....get it running etc etc....and then switch on the hebrew??? and following that..........if 6 months down the line I want to log-in and work on something can I change back to english temporarily so i understand??? I mean ideally there would be a drop down box in the admin / store owner panel where I can just choose what language to view in and it refreshes the page into than language Hopefully it's the same for admin login panel....store owner login panel....and public pages (catalog etc.)....??? My other question, quite unrelated..... I know the store owners can login and add products themselves (hell i know there's al ot more - oscommerce is very impressive at first glance!! WELL DONE YOU GUYS And respect to opensource!! WoohooO!!) but is there also a method that my client (im the webdesigner) can log-in and edit non catalog pages....eg an about us page etc?? Or do I have to run a seperate contribute script.l...?? Thanks in advance for any help and for those who can't help thank you for at least taking your time to read my post Have a great day, I.S.W.Y
