Vat Not Being Added

We have setup our products as taxable products and they have both the net and gross price setup within the catalog.

Have also setup the vat rate of 17.50% as being taxable goods for the UK

But for some reason vat is not calculated. Is this not handled in the standard 2.2 ?

Is there a contribution we should be using.

Hope someone can help?

Thanks,

Dave

HELP

This is driving me slowly insane now and is getting beyond a joke. Does anyone have any ideas why vat is not being added to my products?

Have setup zones, classes, tax rates tried display with and without vat but no vat is being added on checkout.

Can anyone help me please before I start swinging from the rafters? :(
