Guest Posted August 14, 2005 Share Posted August 14, 2005 :( Hello, I have installed apache, php and mysql and all works fine I have fired up oscommerce by typing in http://localhost/catalog/install/install.php?step=2 and it is asking me to enter the database server name> I am running it all locally. Where do i find out the datav=base server name ? I get this error Unknown MySQL server host '//localhost' (11001) Please help I am stuck ! OceanRanch Posted August 14, 2005 Share Posted August 14, 2005 Try entering just localhost for the database server, that is the location where MySQL is normally run.
