bugleman Posted August 14, 2005 Posted August 14, 2005 Can you set up oscommerce to give a discount as a promotion? Such as giving people a percentage off for whatever reason. Is there a way to do that or a contribution I'd need? Thanks.
Jack_mcs Posted August 14, 2005 Posted August 14, 2005 There is the Gift Voucher contribution that will allow you to give such deals to all, or individual, customers. Or you could just place an item on special.See your admin->catalog section. There are also contributions that will allow you to extend the specials functionality. bugleman Posted August 14, 2005 Author Posted August 14, 2005 Thanks. I just made a discount coupon but I don't think that's what I want. I went to Admin to set the coupon mode and all it is is sending a coupon code in email. What I want is for the cart to automatically take off a percentage when someone adds something to checkout. Is there a way to do that?
