Placing pieces of a store on a html webpage

Hi All!

 

I am designing a few landing webpages that will direct others into different parts of my oscommerce store.

 

I am wondering if there is a way for me to place segment info onto my pages? For example show the best sellers or customer's reviews on a landing page.

 

Also can the info be captured based on product catagory best sellers, reviews etc?

 

I don't know much php so if I ask something stupid here just bear with me, I'm a quick learner.

 

Any help here would be greatly appreciated!
