it seems that my template shows up everywhere except when someone goes to make an account or checkout or anything related to not just browsing the store anymore. In the readme it said to put the script in the html name. but i dont quite understand.

These are the main places it doesnt show:

login or myaccount

register account

checkout and invoices

So my question is how do I make my template show on those pages and have the information in the $content area?

I also wondered how do I edit what is on register account page? All my transactions are through verified paypal accounts (no creditcards or money orders etc.) so I do not need to have addresses in the site accounts because if there's fraud then i just do it through paypal. (It's a site of downladable products so I dont ship either)

Well, it sounds that if your making html changes to your pages to change your theme, you will have to do it on all the pages in your root folder, I'm sure if you look, your address_book, account_newsletters, account_history_info, etc. are not reflecting your changes either. If you look at the pages, all of them have basically the same html structure, so once you do one of them, the rest will com easy....you have quite a bit of editing to do :-"

Is it that your template doesn't show on all the pages? Cause that's not the way it's supposed to work. If you're talking about the formating of the content of those pages then the above post is correct.

It does work though so run back through the instructions carefully or start on a test store from scratch to get it to work then dif your files.

Hmm that was what I was afraid of <_< . I'll get to editing that. For the other question though, do you know which file has the Input fields for the "register account" page?

Hmmm,

Should be

/catalog/create_account.php

/catalog/checkout_shipping.php

You can monkey the layout around on these pages but you'll have to dig farther to add or modify fields.

Thanks Iggy

Oh and it turns out with the sts that it was an SSL thing instead. If you notice all the pages I couldnt get it to work on are https:// pages so thats the culprit. I'm trying to get support about it from Diamondsea.
