$categories_id 24?

Hi,

I wonder if this is a problem. Now I have 3 categories (cpath=1 to cpath=3). and many subcats. Now that I add a new category it shows as cpath=24. If I delete an old category, lets say cpath=1. Shouldn't the next category that I create take that id? Also, if I don't write anything on the sort order, the category just don't shows up. It is fine if I write a sort id thought.

 

I wonder if this problem will affect my cart. Is there a way to fix this?

No.. the category id is an auto incrementing number. To make it go back and use old id's in inefficent and doesnt give any benefit.

 

Also, if I don't write anything on the sort order, the category just don't shows up. It is fine if I write a sort id thought.

 

This is possibly related to the sorting but havent tried it... just make sure to enter a value and you will be ok :)
