windpipe Posted August 12, 2005 Posted August 12, 2005 I installed this Contribution http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,1242/ which says it does two things: 1) Quantity pricing per product (currently 4 price break levels). This is useful if you need to give your customers different prices based on the quantity they order. (volume discounts). The product information page will display a table of the price break prices if a product has been configured to use price breaks. 2) Ability to force products to be sold in lots of # quantity. (The shopping cart will enforce this). My problem is that it doesn't just give me the "ability" to force products to be sold in lots... it FORCES me to. This kind of renders this contribution pointless for me, since I need to have price breaks for quantities of 1, 2 and 3 or more?but I'm forced to sell the product in a lot of 1 or 50 or 100. What good does it do to have price breaks for different quantities of a product if I can only sell ONE specific quantity of that product? Am I missing something here? I can find no support for this mod on the forum or anywhere. Can anyone help me figure out how to turn off the feature forcing products to be sold in lots? Quote
