Hi Everyone, can anyone answer this question for me please: I am having a problem downloading after purchase. Everything happens the way I want it to happen up until the point when the customer has to download their document. They get the following error:

500 Internal Server Error when I try to download:

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I followed the instructions from:http://www.oscommerce.com/community...earch,download but it's still not working properly for me. I'm not sure what this problem could be from. Can someone help me please.

what have you modified in relation to any code for the download?

did you leave the .htaccess file alone which gets installed with osCommerce by default?

what are the file permissions on download?

what are the file permissions on pub?

I didn't do anything to the .htaccess file.

My permissions on the catalog/download folder are 777

My permissions on the catalog/pub folder are 777

My permissions on the catalog/download.php file is 777

Am I missing something? You can send me a message on my AOL IM at JamesCalvin3k if you need to.

THanks
