email acting up, not sure why or how

For the last couple months we've been having email issues with our site. No new contribs have been added or modified either so I'm not sure WHY or HOW this happend. And our regular email has been fine, just email with orders for our store..

 

Lately we have not been receiving any emails showing us the order (it is recorded in the db) its just not emailing it to us

 

And also sometimes (seems at random) 2 orders will be placed simultaneously. The customer only ordered once but there are 2 in the db. and then we'll get two order confim emails from osc..

 

anyone have a clue why or how this happened? or at the very least WHERE i can look too solve this problem?

 

I don't think its a server issue as all our regular email pop3 mailboxes go thru fine
