Trouble with Installing Mods

Hi,

 

I seem to be having problems installing mods. I originally had a stock osc installation in which I modified with a template and a couple of contribs. I then found several of the contribs beyond my capibility to intall. I resorted to a loaded version of osc but after breaking it and many days recovering, I went back to stock version. I was able to restore site with the database from the loaded version but now I am unable to install any contribs even the ones I had installed before I had the loaded version. I have checked the DB and there is still reference to some contribs that are no longer installed. I need help with this one. Could it be that the DB is corrupted? How can I change the DB to a state so I can install contribs if this is the case? Any help would be appreciated. The contribs I would like to install are as follows: All products, gift vouchers, printable catalog search engine safe urls, header tags, and the contrib that turns the shop on and off for maintenance. If I could PM someone the DB perhaps someone has the solution.
