Please help my ignorance

Hi. I have downloaded Oscommerce, and my website is ready, but How do I get the program to the site. MY website wasnt very helpful. All they gave me was a list of commands to configure FTP access. But how do I do that? Also I unzipped the program but it wont open. What have I done wrong? Please help me. THank you. :'(

To get the files to your website, you need an FTP program (File Transfer Program). As it sounds, it's for transferring files. A good FTP program is WS_FTP, made by Ip Switch (www.ipswitch.com). Also, I think you should read some of the primers at HTML Goodies (www.htmlgoodies.com).

Hi again. I have uploaded the program to my site, but when I go to install, it says that I do not have authorization to view this page. HTTP error 403 - forbidden. What did I do and how do I fix it?
