Require purchase of additional item ???

Hi,

 

What I want to do is when someone buys my product/service an additional required item gets added to the shopping cart. Any ideas or suggestions on how this might be accomplished would be most helpful.

most simple by just making the additional item part of the product you sell.

Otherwise you need to have a relation and add the additional product when that relation is valid via the same procedure.

I had thought of that, but the purchase really needs to be a item that cannot be purchased without the inclusion of the other item. The other item, however can be purchased on it's own. Maybe there is a contribution that does this? I've tried looking at the contributions but haven't found anything yet.
