localmachine up! login on remote machine no images

hello, running xp, php 4.4, mysql 4.1. got the site running on localhost (internal network for now) and looks great on my local machine. i go to another machine on the network, fire up a browser and point to my new oscommerce site. The catalog comes up, fairly slow, only text appears. The graphics images are not loaded, further, when i point to /catalog i get connection refused, but if i point to /catalog/ it comes up, but again no graphic images, just text.

 

thinking this is firewall related but i have apache exempt from the firewall. Any idea?
