milauskas Posted August 11, 2005 Posted August 11, 2005 Hi all, I successfully installed osC and had everything working. Today I checked the catalog online and had two errors at the top. The first reminded me to delete/rename the install folder (which I did). The second said it was possible to write to includes/configure.php. I set permissions on catalog/includes/configure.php to 444. When I went to check online again, I noticed that when I select the "Manufacturers" pulldown, that page no longer displays any items. At the bottom of the page is an error which reads: Error! Unable to determine the page link! Any insight as to what I need to do to correct this? As I said, everything was working perfectly prior to this. Thanks!

milauskas Posted August 11, 2005 Author Posted August 11, 2005 It is set to false. It was set that way when I installed it. I also noticed on going to the admin area that the items in the boxes on the right of the admin page now have what looks like generic php code. For example, in the osCommerce box at the upper left, the items in the box are: BOX_ENTRY_SUPPORT_SITE BOX_ENTRY_SUPPORT_FORUMS etc. The box below that is titled: BOX_TITLE_ORDERS Any thoughts on what might have happened or what else I can do to fix things? milauskas Posted August 11, 2005 Author Posted August 11, 2005 In addition... I've looked all over on the web for info on this "Error! Unable to determine the page link" error. In some cases people say it's due to a bad install. Should I reinstall osC? Like I said earlier, everything was working perfectly. Now all of a sudden, I got the original errors at the top of the page and the "...Unable to determine" error at the bottom. How would something that was working without problems suddenly start malfunctioning. I didn't change anything except for adding/deleting products and attributes via the admin area. Again, thanks for any help. It is set to false. It was set that way when I installed it.
