Guest Posted August 10, 2005 Posted August 10, 2005 I have just installed OSCommerce and it works fine. I have added my first product. It says ?2.50 in the backend but on the front end it just says 0 as the price. Any ideas? Thanks James

niknakgroup Posted August 10, 2005 Posted August 10, 2005 For those who cant be bothered going through the various links to get to the answer, buried 4 or 5 clicks away is this post by Vger - You have a setting called 'Switch To Default Language Currency' in your osCommerce 'admin' control panel under Configuration. Make sure it is set to true and see if that cures it. Please note - if I have suggested a contrib above, it doesnt mean it will work! Most of the contribs are not ones I've used, but may be useful for your particular problem.... Have you tried a refined search? Chances are your problem has already been dealt with elsewhere on the forums..... if (stumped == true) { return(square_one($start_over) } else { $random_query = tep_fetch_answer($forum_query) }
♥Vger Posted August 10, 2005 Posted August 10, 2005 Actually, that wasn't one of my best posts. If you set it to Switch To Default Language Currency and it is set to dollars in includes/languages/english.php then you could have a problem. I would use that setting in conjunction with making sure that includes/languages/english.php is set for 'GBP' and not 'USD' and the german and spanish files are set to 'EUR' for Euro. Vger
niknakgroup Posted August 10, 2005 Posted August 10, 2005 Emmett - wanna update your links to point to the corrected version? lol! ♥yesudo Posted August 10, 2005 Posted August 10, 2005 Or two clicks via that root was: When you have changed the currency in the language file - then go into admin and click update currencies. You may need to shut all your browser windows and then reopen the store in a new one to see the effects. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Your online success is Paramount.
niknakgroup Posted August 10, 2005 Posted August 10, 2005 Oops - got a little click happy and was just following the links - maybe I should stop and pay attention to the content once in a while..... *blush* Please note - if I have suggested a contrib above, it doesnt mean it will work!
