I have a small range of products and yet there is a lot going on. Can any of you recommend any contribs or anything that would work well with my site? I suppose ideally I would like one MAIN feature item which changes each time you log in, making the site look a little different each time. My worry is that you log on to the main page and there is too much to see! I just need it to look more interesting to encourage repeat visits. Your advice as always is truly appreciated. Or would you prefer to create an account?" and add a featured item myself using HTML code in the place of the text. You can easily add images, text etc if you have a html creator and then just cut and paste it into the page that contains the Welcome guest message. You would need to change index.php which is located in includes/languages/english it's the Define('TEXT_Main' section you need to look for. wizardsandwars Posted August 10, 2005 Share Posted August 10, 2005 I'd install the featured products contribution, and them limit the results to 1 random product from the products you've defined as featured in the admin. By default, the featured products box is displayed exactly like the what's new box, but with some minor adjustments, you can have it display only the contents without the box. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- NOTE: As of Oct 2006, I'm not as active in this forum as I used to be, but I still work with osC quite a bit.
