Duplication of tables/options/settings

Hi i am hoping someone can help me sort this little niggle, in my configuration section of the panel all the options are duplicated which came about after a reset of the store i think, so now on the configuration page it shows 3 rows of the same setting for each option. how do i get rid of all the others so that there is one of each setting as is should be. My guess is that a reset is just adding all page tables instead or renewing, can any one help with this please?
