OEG Posted August 9, 2005 Posted August 9, 2005 I see that oscommerce provides alot in designing a cart/catalog. But I am seeing lots of sites with tons of personal touches. If I want my site to be personalized do I need to create it in a different software or can it all be done on os here? Can someone please help me out so I don't go too crazy trying to figure this out.
Gil_e_n Posted August 9, 2005 Posted August 9, 2005 There's a couple of different contributions that make modifying the appearance easier. Simple Template System (STS) is the one I use. I believe there's also BTS, plus, of course, the numerous templates available. It is also possible to change the look without any of these contributions, just by modifying the header, footer, column left, column right, and the infoboxes, but it's usually easier just to install one of the contributions designed to make it easy to change the look of your site.
