Later <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Not so much a book, but a website - if you havent used it yet php offers a website for tutorials, lesson plans shit like that to help the novice user become more inept with php its www.php.net As far as books - I would just suggest going to your local barnes & noble, waldenbooks, or book store and just browsing through the section and look at each book - just give it a brief look at the table of contents, and then give a brief skim of the book. Good luck
droiddr
Thanks for the reply, I will look at the php website for sure. Anyone know of any books they have found excellent? I basically want an in-depth look at XHTML and CSS, kind of like a complete reference. If anyone knows of a book that really stands out I would appreciate to know of it. If I could remember the publisher of the XHTML, and CSS books that I used in College - I'd give that to you - plus the name - but right now my mind is blank from it all lol

Guest
Don't take this the wrong way but... PHP & MySQL for dummies! This book is GREAT! It has allowed me to do everything for my store, www.TradRack.com For CSS don't get a book. Just go to www.w3schools.com, awesome site to learn CSS great examples, good lessons and it's free. Later <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Check out W3Schools and W3C, they both have some very good information that's helped me to change my regular PHP+HTML to PHP+XHTML. Pretty much I learned CSS on my own off the Internet and that took a while; I learned to start making my HTML into XHTML within maybe a day, 2 at most because everything was pretty much the same, except for the way you close your tags.
