If you mean the text on the main page then go to:

includes/languages/english/index.php and there you can edit any unwanted text

Try modifying the text from the "English" folder (if that's the language you're using). I think you can find it at /includes/languages/english/. You may have to do some looking around in that folder to find out exactly what you want to edit. I don't know the proper terminology but there should be a page with a list of variables (i think they're variables). You can try looking there. I'm at work now so I can't do a bunch of research but that's how you do it. Do you have a link to your page??
