John,

Thanks for the quick reply, however now I'm more confused. I dont even know what the paypal ipn is ?? Is it a contribution, which boggle my mind.

I have paypal just from the stock osc setup done! I'm osc and computer challenged, and of course this is an emergency.

Can you give me more info no what exactly you mean.

Thanks,

Linda

yes, it is a contribution, probably take you 30 to 45 minutes to install at the most.

click on contributions in my signature, then search for osc paypal or paypal

I'm having the same paypal issues and I've searched for paypal IPN and it looks as if there are a few of them, is there any way you could post a direct link to the one we should be using?

Thanks

Brian

Go to Contributions and look under Payment Modules for osCommerce Pay Pal IPN, and you'll find the one which says it is officially supported by osCommerce Team Members.

This is the easest of the various PayPal IPN's to install because it does not involve any editing of files. There is one new folder called 'ext' which you install in the root of your website, and the rest are new files. All you do then is to go to your osCommerce control panel and enable it.

forgive me if I sound dumb, but I still can't find the "officially supported version", can you give me a direct link to it.

Thanks

Brian
